Miguel Aristizabal

 

Miguel Aristizabal attained his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2016, where he was invited to become part of the Law School’s distinguished Order of Emory Advocates. While pursuing his Juris Doctorate, Miguel was also invited to become a member of Emory Law School’s Moot Court Society, where he competed in the 2015 Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition and placed as a finalist among 60 teams. He also served as a director of the Emory Moot Court Society as well as Vice President of the Latin American Law Student Association.

 

Miguel was honored to have a Judicial Internship with the 15th Judicial Circuit of Palm Beach County. He also worked as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Christopher McFadden of the Georgia Court of Appeals. Working closely with the judiciary and learning first-hand the inner workings of the trial and appellate level courts, Miguel gained invaluable experiences.

 

Prior to joining Clayton Trial Lawyers LP, Miguel worked at one of the largest U.S. law firms — Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

 

He is bi-lingual, and reads and writes fluently in Spanish. He treasures his Colombian heritage and background.

 

Prior to beginning the path of his legal career, Miguel graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and also attained an M.B.A. from Lynn University. His entrepreneurial interests and MBA background, give him valuable insights into the world of business.
